Bemberke Training Camp, Benin (Africa) – Instructors from Oak Grove Technologies, LLC recently completed a “Train the Trainer” (T2) mission at the Bemberke Training Camp in Benin.
Oak Grove CEO, Mark Gross said, “This was an exciting opportunity for us. Oak Grove has trained U.S. and Iraqi soldiers and now we can facilitate peacekeeping forces in Africa.”
Twenty Army Wheeled Vehicle Mechanics from the FAB completed an intensive hands-on familarization maintenance course on the M113 Family of Armored Personnel Carriers. Oak Grove instructors, Jeffrey Blount and Alvin White, spent 13 days at the Camp. The Oak Grove team used interpreters throughout the training to bridge the language barrier with the French speaking soldiers. All training, including briefings, instructional materials, and hand-outs were provided in French and English.
A US Government representative visiting the training was very pleased with the quality of the training Oak Grove provided. “JB and Alvin were very enthusiastic and motivating. The student really got a lot out of the training”, he said.
